HIPER ANNOUNCEMENT ON DISCONTINUED WHEELS

 

LAWRENCE, Kan, April 23, 2007 – HiPer Technology, Inc has issued a six month notice of discontinuance of service on selected older discontinued wheels, specifically the Tech 1 and Tech 2 designs.  These designs have not been manufactured in more than two years, and are well beyond their one year warranty service period.

Parts for these wheels have become increasingly scarce making HiPer’s ability to service these older designs limited.  Until November 1, 2007, HiPer will make every attempt to continue to service these first and second generation wheels with existing parts inventory.  Past the November 1, 2007 deadline, no parts will be available for the Tech 1 and Tech 2 wheels.  Interchangeable parts common to the Tech 3 and CF1 products will be used when possible.

The Tech 1 and 2 designs are distinguished by the use of silicone or gasket seals rather than the current o-ring design.  The 8 inch Tech 1 and 2 wheels also have integrated hubs which replace the stock assemblies.

Every attempt will be made with our current limited supplies to service these wheels until November 1, 2007.  If you have a product requiring service, please act promptly.
